Hello!

My name is Abdoul. Short for Abdoulraziek.

I’m a Syrian-American photographer, videographer, and multi-media artist working out of the Metro Detroit area.

What started as an early fascination with my dad’s old Sony Handycam has since evolved into a career built around visual storytelling. Whether I’m crafting moving images or experimenting with new creative mediums, I’ve remained deeply engaged in the art of making ideas visually compelling.

I’ve photographed a variety of concerts and events, as well as portraiture sessions, thus building relationships and establishing myself as a trusted photographer amongst my longtime clients.

Throughout my film career, I’ve embraced a variety of roles on film sets, including Director of Photography, 1st Assistant Camera, Gaffer, and more. I’ve developed an appreciation for both the creative and technical sides of video production, allowing me to approach each project from an informed and unique perspective.

Beyond production, I’m incredibly passionate about the post-production process and visual refinement. I’m highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, using tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom to manipulate and shape raw footage and imagery into polished visuals.

I enjoy bringing a distinctive eye and an ambitious creative approach to every project I engage with. I’m always looking for new ways to push an idea further, experiment with visual storytelling, and create work that feels intentional, polished, and unmistakably my own.

Outside of my professional life, I love to read sci-fi and fantasy books, partake in long distance running, travel to new places (bringing my camera of course), and mess around with technology any way I can to create a new project for myself!
